Injury Rehabilitation

When you experience pain, it's usually your body telling you something is not right.
I start working with any client, in-person or online, with a movement assessment. Chronic pain is often caused from wear-and-tear, from years of compensating - overusing or underusing certain muscle groups.
My approach is to figure out what your weak link is and where we can improve to live a pain-free life.
Strength - Mobility - Stability
My approach to injury rehabilitation focuses on strength, mobility and stability. Strength is improving your muscles' capacity to exert forces as well as being loaded. Mobility is your ability to move through different planes in full range of motion. Stability is adapting your body to be able to resist force.
We all have an area to focus on, whether that could be strength, mobility, or stability - or in some cases, all of them.

Different bodies come with different needs and different goals.
Train with me and learn how to perform compound movements like deadlifts, squats and bench press confidently and pain-free. Key to being able to lift well is becoming aware of the mechanics of your body and how it wants to move.
Wherever you are in your strength journey, whether you have been a gym-goer for years or recovering from an injury, I am experienced in personalizing your training to meet you where you are and get you to where you want to be.
